Sabrina Wang
Wei (Sabrina) Wang joined Alves Law at the early stage of its incorporating and has been integral to its development. Sabrina has been practising exclusively in family law. Her services cover all aspects of family law in the context of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Sabrina has a strong interest in cross-border family matters and has been recognized as an expert in Chinese family law and legal procedure by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and regularly assists clients navigating complex international issues.
Sabrina graduated with a Ph.D. in Law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in China. She obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) from Osgoode Hall Law School in Ontario, Canada.
Prior to practising in Ontario, Sabrina was a law professor and researcher. Her publications include authored books, book chapters, translated chapters and articles. She had been an academic visitor conducting comparative studies in family law at Oxford University.
Sabrina remains qualified to practice law in China and is affiliated with Kingpound Law Firm. Sabrina is also an arbitrator of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission in China and a member of the Council in the Marriage and Family Law Association of China Law Society.
Sabrina is currently completing her family mediation certification. She takes a compassionate, practical approach and is dedicated to helping clients resolve their family law issues with clarity, empathy, and strategic insight.
王薇——家庭法律师
王薇律师在Alves Law律所创立初期即加入，积极参与律所的发展建设，是团队的重要成员。王薇专注于家庭法业务，她的服务涵盖家庭法的各个方面，包括诉讼程序和替代性争议解决机制中的法律事务。
王薇对跨境家庭法律事务有着浓厚的兴趣，并多次协助客户处理复杂的跨境家庭法纠纷。她曾被安大略省高等法院认可为中国家庭法及法律程序的专家。她的工作语言是英语和中文普通话。
王薇在中国西南政法大学获得法学博士学位，后在加拿大约克大学奥斯古德法学院（Osgoode Hall Law School）取得法学硕士（LLM）学位。
在加拿大执业前，王薇曾在中国从事法学教育和研究工作。王薇在婚姻家庭法领域出版个人专著一部、合著四部、合译两部，发表学术论文四十余篇。2013年至2014年，她曾作为访问学者在英国牛津大学从事家庭法比较研究。
目前，王薇仍具备中国律师资格，是广州金鹏律师事务所执业律师。同时，她也是中国广州仲裁委员会仲裁员，以及中国法学会婚姻家庭法学研究会理事。
王薇正在完成安大略省家事调解员认证课程。她以同理心、务实的态度为客户提供服务，致力于以清晰的法律思维、专业的策略和人性化的方式，协助客户妥善解决家庭法问题，帮助他们平稳过渡人生中的重要阶段。
